Lionel Messi has devoted his whole football career at Barcelona, arriving at an inconceivable achievement against Huesca last Sunday

Xavi

stands between him and the first spot – the Spaniard puppet master has amassed 505 league presentations, 767 altogether for the Catalans.

Talking with Diario Sport to stamp the event, Messi uncovered that he was so glad to have arrived at such a great achievement:

“It’s a pride to have reached this number of matches in the Barcelona shirt,”

he said.

Messi showed up in

Barcelona

unexpectedly a little more than 20 years back as a 13-year-old kid. From that point forward, he's recorded 524 victories from his 750 games, 138 draws, and 88 losses, with an incredible number of 644 goals for the club.

Of his 500 games in

La Liga

, 252 were at home -Camp Nou- while 248 were away from home. He has 369 triumphs in the league (211 at home and 158 away) and has found the net 451 times (365 at home and 186 away from Camp Nou).

The 33-year-old made his senior team debut on October sixteenth, 2004, going ahead as a substitution of Deco against city rivals Espanyol at Montjuic at only 17 years of age. After all these years, he represented Barca's shirt for the 750th time.
