Inter and Juventus have good conditions in the table and from the point of view of the Roma coach, they have a high chance of winning Serie A.
Juventus have won the Serie A title in the last nine years, but they have had lower results this season than in previous years. Inter, who were runners-up in the league last season, are second in the table this season. Fonseca, whose team is 7 points away from the top of the table, Milan, considers his team in the championship competition but claimed that Inter and Juventus are the leading contenders.
“The teams that have invested the most are Juventus and Inter, then there are five or six other strong teams that can fight for the title, including us,”
he said at a press conference.
“Look at what Milan are doing, it’s fantastic. Then there are also Napoli and Atalanta, even if Juve and Inter are the favourites.”
Rome will face Crotone who lost 6-2 to inter and Fonesca said:
“I spoke to the players about this. Crotone are a great team, we don’t have to look at the position, but at what they have done,” he said.
“I watched the match against Inter, they have quality and courage. And looked mainly at the first half they played there.
“Tomorrow will be a difficult match, but we have to play with a lot of ambition and attention against a quality opponent, they always want the ball.”
