Tue 05 January 2021 | 13:17

Currently 16th in La Liga, the future of Javi Garcia at Valencia is uncertain.

Valencia

are in big trouble. They have only managed to get one victory in the last 13 games as they are currently on an eight-match without win run. They drew against

Cadiz

. The pressure is high on

Javi Garcia

and he might actually lose his job.

Garcia came to Valencia in the summer but they only managed to keep themselves out of the relegation spot as they are currently 16th in the League. All the football headlines in Spain are now about Valencia’s horrible situation.

Anil Murthy, Valencia’s chairman reportedly held a videoconference with Javi Garcia on Tuesday and the results of the meeting was that Garcia should remain in his position. Gracia had penned a two-year contract at the club through to the summer of 2022 and is the seventh permanent manager since owner Peter Lim took control of the club.

Valencia signed no first team player during the summer transfer window and lost 9 players which made Garcia angry prior to this new season.
