The Serie A coach talked about his team after their win over Sassuolo and his hope of Diallo remaining at the club.

Atalanta

manager,

Gian Piero Gasperini

, praised their 5-1 win over

Sassuolo

despite admitting to his team losing

“a little bit of talent”

while hoping that

Amad Diallo

remains with them until the end of the season.

“This team can sometimes lose a little bit of talent, but we are a tough team and hard to overcome,”

he told

Sky Sport.

"Over the years we have always had balance. At certain times of the season we could change things up front, but at some point, this became more complicated to do.”

“In November we struggled to maintain a certain balance and then we tried different solutions. It happened also when there was Papu Gomez."

Gasperini added on Amad Diallo on-loan stay till the end of the season, saying:

“I hope so, if

Manchester United

could loan him out, it would be the best thing to let him stay with us.”
