The former Real Madrid player talked about how he feels with Betis following their draw with Sevilla.
Real Betis player, Sergio Canales, put an impressive performance on display after he scored the equalizer for his side against Sevilla. The former Racing Club player, who joined Real Madrid at a young age to later move to Valencia, was not considered a professional senior footballer until he joined Real Sociedad.
Still after being hampered by injury he moved to Real Betis in 2018 to have the best time of his career and win a spot on Spain international squad. The Spaniard, who rejoined Betis after six weeks of injury, scored a brace against Levante and won his team a draw with Sevilla talked about his love for Betis, saying: “I feel like I’m at home.”
“Racing will always be my team, but this is a very passionate club and they really make you feel it. It comes from within and makes you enjoy your football even more, especially regarding this spectacular rivalry. I’ve never experienced anything like it.”
