Manchester United and Grealish mystery goes on

Sun 03 January 2021 | 16:57

Are the Red Devils interested in signing Jack Grealish?

There hasn’t been any reports suggesting

Manchester United’s

interest in signing

Jack Grealish

after the speculations about the links between the club and England International.

The club tried to sign him in the summer but they weren’t willing to pay more than £65m but

Aston Villa

wanted at least £100m for their young star and the transfer failed because of that and Grealish signed a new deal with Aston Villa committing him to the club until 2025.

Now Manchester United has another chance to bring the player to Old Trafford as the 25 years old star keeps showing his qualities. Daily Mail claims that Manchester can attempt to sign him in the summer but Aston Villa will probably look for a good fee considering Grealish’s new contract.

Here is what

Solskjaer

said about the England international before their Friday fixture:

“I don't want to say too much about other teams' players but of course he's a player we know we have to look for,

“He's a player for Aston Villa and England who has only improved. The goal he scored last season was a brilliant goal and we've faced him enough times to know it's going to be a difficult game.”

The future of English star is still unpredictable and we have to wait and see if the Manchester giants can bring the star to Old Trafford or not.
