Real Madrid topped the La Liga table last night, although Atletico have played three games less.
Real Madrid midfielder Lucas Vazquez has claimed that his team will compete with Atletico Madrid for the La Liga title until the end.
Vazquez scored Real's first goal against Celta Vigo yesterday and sent the second goal pass to Asensio so that the Whites could beat their opponent by two goals. In six games in November, three defeats for Zidane's side widened the gap between Real and Atletico, but now Real have reached the top of the La Liga table, although Simeone's side has played three games less.
Real are the defending champions of La Liga, and now Vazquez has claimed that they will fight Atletico until the end.
"The league has been very competitive. There are no easy games because every team makes it difficult for us," the 29-year-old said.
"Atletico has the advantage, but we’ll keep fighting right until the end for everything".
Barcelona's poor results so far have meant that the team is not even competing for the title, and Atletico and Real Madrid see each other as rivals for the title.
