Schalke terminate Taitague’s contract to handle their financial crisis

are reportedly looking to reduce their large 31-man roster as the club is struggling with Covid pandemic related financial crisis. The Royal Blues are looking for a buyer or a loan destination for their controversial midfielder,
Nabil Bentaleb
, who has no place in their new manager’s plans.
According to Kicker, the club also is looking to offload
Ozan Kabak, Rabbi Matondo, Ahmed Kutucu,
and
Hamza Mendyl.
