The poor results of Tony Pulis have led the club owner to admit that his choice was wrong.
owner Dejphon Chansiri has claimed that appointing Tony Pulis as the club's manager was a 'mistake' and that he would not make such a mistake in choosing a replacement.
Following Pulis dismissal on Monday, Sheffield Wednesday has not yet selected a new coach ahead of Friday night's crucial derby. Neil Thompson will be temporarily in charge of Anne, who won the previous match against Middlesbrough on Wednesday, 2-1.
The former manager of Stoke, West Brom, and Crystal Palace was selected as the Sheffield Wednesday coach in November but won only 1 in 10 games. Now Chansiri has claimed that he will not repeat the mistake of the past.
He told reporters:
“I need to bring in the right one. I thought Pulis was the right one but I was totally wrong. I can’t make a mistake this time.
“After I sacked Pulis, many offers came in but I can only choose one. I need to make sure it is the right one. We are still working. I will try to make a decision as soon as possible.
“My people need to help me make a shortlist and then we’ll look at it. Then we’ll start to interview.“This time we need to think more and more. I don’t want any surprises again.”
