The Argentine coach has been thinking about joining PSG for a long time.
The Independent reports that Mauricio Pochettino spoke to Unai Emery about managing Paris Saint-Germain when Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal sacked them.
Pochettino is PSG's main option to lead the club after the dismissal of Thomas Tuchel on Tuesday last week. The Argentine boss was sacked by the Spurs in November and has not led any team since. The Independent claims that Pochettino met with Emery 10 days after his dismissal from Arsenal and talked to the Spanish coach about his presence in Paris Saint-Germain. Between 2018-2016, Emery led PSG for two seasons and then left for Arsenal.
Since he speculates that he will lead PSG in the future, he intends to use Emery's experience in this regard.
Pochettino played for Paris Saint-Germain between 2000 and 2003, and everything seems to be ready for his emotional return to the club.
