The Dutch defender intends to consider offers from other clubs.
has made an offer to extend Timothy Fosu-Mensah, but the defender is currently considering the rest of the options.
Marseille and Hertha Berlin are among the clubs monitoring the 22-year-old defender, who could sign him as a free agent next summer when his contract expires. Fuso-Mensah is looking to be in the starting line-up and play continuously, which did not happen to him under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
He will be allowed to negotiate directly with other clubs from January. Hertha Berlin and Marseille are considering to sign him in the winter transfer window with a not-so-high offer.
The Dutch defender has played just one game for his side in the Premier League this season - Manchester United's first game in the league against Crystal Palace - and has played as a substitute in two games. He is a product of Manchester United Academy and has played 30 games for the first team. He has also been on loan at Fulham and Palace.
