Arsenal’s former assistant coach talks about Arteta’s situation at the club.
has been trying so hard to get back to the expected form but they haven’t been able to turn things around despite the changes they have made in different aspects and right now their current manager
is under so much pressure and some say that he will be sacked if he doesn’t change things around immediately but some pundits have started to see things from another angle suggesting that they need to be calm and give their young head coach some time to recover from their downfall in the recent years.
Here is what the Gunners former assistant coach said about the situation in his interview with The Athletic.
"It is not easy,"
"After so many years with Wenger, it was not an easy moment. It is true that there were changes in many different areas of the club, but the club hierarchy has to try to keep things calm and give confidence to the people working there, now it is Mikel and [technical director] Edu.
"I know it is not easy sometimes, with results, but constant changes are not good and you need to have patience for the results to arrive, and so that the people who work there now can achieve the things they are fighting for.”
