Ibrahimovic: 'Winning is my drug, Milan feels like home.'

Zlatan Ibrahimovic says he has two children in Sweden and 25 in Milan and demands he wouldn't trade his 12 Swedish Guldbollen -annual award for the best Swedish male footballer- with one Ballon d'Or

The former Sweden international striker delivered an interview with Sportweek and talked about his ambitions at

Milan

.

“We only lost a few games this season, I don’t know if it’s thanks to me. Milan sat 12th in the table when I arrived. Everyone thought it was over already, we reached the top instead and we must continue," he added.

“I respect each one of the clubs I’ve played for, but Milan is where I feel at home. When I am at Milanello, I’m not in a rush to come back home, become I am at home already.

"That’s what I felt the first time I joined this club. [Adriano] Galliani and [Silvio] Berlusconi used to tell me: ‘You are home here, do what you want, but you must bring results.

“When I was a kid I wanted to become a complete footballer. I wanted to be the best in everything. I am complete now, that’s why I am special.

“I wouldn’t swap my 12 Swedish Guldbollen with one France Football’s Ballon d’Or. My awards prove I’ve been consistent during my career. I’ve seen many footballers play a great World Cup, a Euro or a Champions League. One incredible year before disappearing. I’ve always been at the top, it’s not a one lucky shot.

“Winning is my drug, it’s hard to explain, but when I am on the pitch I want to win. I’ve won the 95 per cent of games in training. It’s not a lie, even if drug is not a nice word. People who use drugs are weak. I don’t respect those who have everything and kill themselves. There are people who have nothing, they live on the streets, but they never give up, because they are strong.”
