Inter striker Lautaro Martinez's agent spoke about the player’s future
Inter striker Lautaro Martinez's agent Beto Yaque spoke about the player's condition and the possibility of joining Barcelona in an interview with Argentinian newspaper Ole earlier Today.
"Today he is fine where he is. Obviously, he is growing and learning. He is a boy with enormous potential, without limits, who can become an elite player. Today the truth is that the most important thing is that he got used to European football very quickly.
"He arrived and started playing almost automatically. And when he came in, he scored goals. So, people could see his talents. Because of what he put on the pitch he made people love him and that was good because he tried to continue to prove himself."
He stressed that Martinez is very happy at Inter.
"He has another three years on his contract. Whoever wants to sign him must come to an agreement with Inter, but he's calm and happy there. He plays and grows."
The agent discussed about how it feels to manage a player like Martinez.
"He makes you learn. You grow up all of a sudden, a bit like what happened to him. You start talking to managers of small clubs, those of the youth teams, then I started talking to Blanco and then I talked to the directors of the most important teams in the world.
"I didn't imagine that. I have an important relationship with him, like a father and son. And that's what I like most. We've been close even in the most difficult moments."
Martinez has a contract with Nerazzurri until 2023 and has played in 20 matches this season, scoring seven goals and provided five assists
