The Blaugrana face big challenges as Coutinho continues to struggle at Camp Nou.

Former

Liverpool

player,

Philippe Coutinho

, who joined

Barcelona

in 2018 for €120m, could force his current club into paying €20m to Liverpool if he succeeds in making 10 appearances with Ronald Koeman’s squad.

The Brazilian, who was loaned to

Bayern Munich

after 18 months with the Catalonians, showed an impressive run with Flick’s men, but his return to Barca still kept him on hold as Koeman chose to pick

Pedri

over the 28-year-old.

According to

Sport

Pedri, who joined Barcelona for €5m in the summer, could

‘exceed €10m’

, and it’s a

‘sweet invoice’

for the

LaLiga

club since they

‘did not face with such enthusiasm the fact of seeing how the account was raised by a player’

.

With the current financial struggles at Camp Nou, paying €20m to Liverpool is

‘terrible news’

for Barcelona and considering the player’s

‘discreet performances’

the club continues feel more pressured than ever.

AS

confirmed Sport statements saying the payment is an

‘impossible figure’

for the Catalans.
