The Red Devils have so far failed to attract the Norwegian striker.

Manchester United

are trying to sign

striker Erling Haaland in the winter transfer window, but the Norwegian striker is reluctant to make the move.

The 20-year-old striker signed a 130,000-a-week deal with Dortmund in January last year and has been outstanding on the team ever since. But at United the situation on the offensive line has not been very good. Anthony Martial has mostly played for No. 9 for the Sulsers, but has not been in good form. The former Monaco striker has scored just one goal in his eight Premier League games.

Cavani, despite the important and good goals he scored, was mostly on the bench and could not be a full-fledged striker for the Red Devils. Therefore, the big problem for Manchester so far has been the presence of a goal scorer in the team.

The Athletic website claimed that the Red Devils' main target in the winter transfer window would be Earling Haaland. They have also entered into negotiations with Mino Raiola, the Dutch agent, but so far, their offer has been rejected by the other side. The Netherlands have scored 17 goals in 14 games this season and are in excellent form, although they have been sidelined with injuries in recent weeks.
