The German international promised he will bounce back stronger in 2021.
Bayern Munich star Leroy Sane has emphasized that he is surprised by his substitution against Bayer Leverkusen but has full confidence in his team's technical staff.
Sane has played 16 games for his team since moving from Manchester City toBayern
in the summer for € 60 million. He came on in the 32nd minute after Kingsley Kuman's injury when Bayern were1-0 behind. However, he performed well during the game, scoring several times for Thomas Müller and Lewandowski.
However, in the final minutes of the game, he could not influence his team's performance, so Flick decided to pull him out. After the match, Sane announced that he was surprised by his replacement but trusted the technical staff.
"The substitution came as a surprise to me at first - I didn't know it like that. But that also happens once,"
Sane told Bild.
"I feel the full trust of the team and I'm totally at ease with FC Bayern. I am my biggest critic myself and know how to classify the fact that I was not able to use my capabilities recently. But that will change.
"I will do everything I can to repay the club's trust in me."
