Diego Simeone will address issues with Joao Felix and Suarez following Atletico Madrid’s derby loss.
were unhappy to see themselves not playing the full 90 minutes but manager
is sure any issues with the pair will be addressed.
None of Rojiblancos’ frontmen played the full 90 minutes in the 2-0 loss against Real Madrid, a result which put an end to the club's unbeaten run after 26 games in LaLiga.
The pair were substituted by midfielders – Saul Niguez and Geoffrey Kondogbia – and reacted badly as they returned to the bench.
But Diego Simeone wasn’t worried about their dissatisfaction.
"We have been here for nine years and what we have to talk about will happen internally," he said. "The best way to resolve situations is by talking and obviously we talk."
Saul had Atletico’s best chance to score but his close-range header was saved by Courtois.
The Spanish international hasn’t registered a goal or assist so far this season but Simeone believes he is an important player for the team.
"He is not having his best moment," Simeone said. "I have no doubt that for us he is a very important player.
"He has competed since he joined the team as a young man. He has always been important and this year it will not be different.
"He is working to improve. He is strong; we will see the Saul we all know again."
