'Furious' Cesare Prandelli says Fiorentina 'lacked aggression' while Franck Ribery isn't completely regained his form

La Viola

have just one point in their last four

Serie A

fixtures under former Italy international coach, and they got thrashed 3-0 by

Atlanta

“I am angry because we conceded a goal losing three challenges in a row on the edge of our box.

“We should not be ashamed of defending and everyone must do it. The build up and the offensive phase came as a consequence,” Prandelli told Sky Sport.

“After we were 3-0 down we freed ourselves from our fears, we didn’t produce many shots on target, but we were not afraid of conceding one or two goals more. We are trying to escape a complicated situation.

“We are three points above the relegation zone, but we are four points away from a placement where we should be.

“My staff and I must be clear with players, we must focus on the next game, which must be completely different. We must be aggressive when we try to gain the ball possession.”

Ribery

came into the game in the second 45 minutes.

“Nothing particular is happening, he is a champion and maybe he is suffering empty stadiums. He has also had some physical problems but we can recover him soon.”
