Ajax forward arrested for stabbing!

Ajax and Netherlands winger, Quincy Promes was arrested today by Dutch police for his involvement in a stabbing incident.

In July 2020 in Abcoude, a city in outskirts in south of Amsterdam, a family member of


was severely wounded in a stabbing incident, and Promes himself is accused of being involved in the clash and injuring that person.

Promes is currently just a suspect, but if convicted, the Dutch international could be sentenced to four years in prison.

For the next three days, Promes will be in pre-trial detention and this detention can be extended. The Telegraph reported that a family party was held in Abcoude in July, during which


got into a fight with a relative and attacked him with a knife. The victim later broke the news to the media. According to the evidence, those present tried to stop Promes, but failed.
