Zidane pleased with Kroos and Modric display against Atletico Madrid

The Frenchman was additionally asked about the triplet in the midfield, who have a rivalry as Federico Valverde and Martin Odegaard. 

"They are at the level of the three Champions Leagues we won in a row," he said. "They are playing at a very high level."

Triumph against Atletico finished an incredibly fruitful week, with Madrid having likewise won 1-0 at Sevilla and 2-0 against Borussia Monchengladbach to arrive at the

Champions League

's knockout stage.
