Though the Frenchman has been strongly linked with Los Blancos his stance with PSG still stands firm as he continues to be one of their regular players.

Christian Karembeu wishes to know what

Kylian Mbappe

decides for his future now that

Real Madrid

has shown interest in the

Paris Saint-Germain

player. Though PSG hope the player would remain at the club to extend their chances of winning the Champions League, Mbappe could move to another team as only 18 months of his contract remain with the Ligue 1 squad. But Karemeu insists that the player should not be rushed.

"It's a dream but we have to wait,"

Karembeu said.

"The Madrid fans have been waiting for Kylian for a year or two.”

"He hasn't come yet. It's the same thing for Paul Pogba."

"Today, Kylian has to decide his objectives and his plans, if he wants to go to Real Madrid or stay at Paris.”

"The 'Casa Blanca' is eternal. Players can come and go, but Real is immortal."

Karembeu, who spent some time with Los Blancos, spoke about their seventh

Champions League

title which was earned after 32 years in 1998.

"I talked about Real Madrid. It's 32 years of scarcity to be able to conquer the 'septima', the 'octava' and so many others. It takes a lot of patience,"

Karembeu said.

"That's what I believe this Parisian team has been doing for many years."

Karembeu added on PSG investments with great players saying: "

They have accumulated criticism. Nevertheless, they have always invested in football, in the players and in the structure of the club.”

"They have innovated to get results. Last year they played the final, this year they qualified [for the last 16]."

Later he talked about

Qataris investments

 at the club stating:

"Since they arrived, they have managed to give visibility to the French championship by bringing in big stars like Zlatan [Ibrahimovic], [David] Beckham and many others.”

"[You can] see PSG and the French championship to inspire other generations like [Presnel] Kimpembe and so many others to play in the Champions League and become world champions, but also to go further and further in the European cups."
