Leicester winger Demarai Gray is expected to leave the club after not impressing Brendon Rodgers.

The 24-year-old’s contract is about to expire and the

’s manager is not planning on keeping him. Gray has only played once in Carabao Cup this season.

It’s pretty clear with

that he’s looking to move on. His attitude to training has been first class, he has been very professional,

” said Rodgers.

He is at the stage of his career where he has been here a long time and hasn’t maybe nailed down a place. A fresh start may be the course for him.

“I will always respect him and until his last day I will never discard him but it’s looking more than likely he will probably be somewhere else next season.”

The winger moved to Leicester in 2016 from Birmingham for the price tag of £3.5million. He played in 168 games for the club and met the back of the net 13 times. However, he failed to impress
