Covid hits Newcastle as several players will miss the West Brom match

Steve Bruce revealed he will be without “a big chunk” of players ahead of their Premier League match against West Bromwich Albion.

Newcastle are currently 13

on the league table,

8 points clear of the relegation zone, 

things might get worse for them as the Covid positive tests are coming to hit the club.

Although

Newcastle’s

boss,

Steve Bruce

, would not reveal the identities of the players who have tested positive, he revealed several players of the first-team are affected.

Matheus Pereira

will be absent as he was sent off in the first half of last week’s 5-1 loss to Crystal Palace, the midfielder will begin his three-match suspension following an unsuccessful appeal by his club.

Matt Ritchie

and

Jake Livermore

are expected to be available for Bruce, as they are coming back from injuries.
