Wed 09 December 2020 | 22:47

Cristiano Ronaldo has said he hates supporters' absence in the stadium but ‘the show must go on.’

The Portuguese veteran scored a brace from penalty kicks against

Barcelona

to help his side to cancel out the victory Barca achieved in Turin and take the first spot in the Champions League’s Group G.

It was the first time that

Ronaldo

scored against the Catalans in European games.

He has posted a picture of himself in an empty Camp Nou on his social media saying that he misses spectators in the stadium but we have to continue.

“We all miss the supporters in the stadiums and hopefully things will change very soon... But until then, the show must go on,” CR7 wrote.

He also made comments on Twitter about Juventus’ victory over the Spanish side.

“Always great to return to Spain and to Catalunya, always hard to play in Camp Nou against one of the best teams I ever faced. Today we were a team of Champions! A true, strong and united family! Playing like this, we have nothing to fear until the end of the season... Let’s go!”
