Following expectations from Newcastle in the Premier League, they joined full group training for the clash against West Brom on Saturday.

They faced

Aston Villa

in their top-flight fixture of the season but they succumb to the coronavirus and were forced to close

Darsely Park

headquarters.

Newcastle

posted on Twitter:

“The #NUFC squad return to full group training this afternoon following last week’s temporary closure due to a rise in Covid-19 cases.”

They resumed their training on Saturday while strict rules were considered with those whose coronavirus test was positive.

The medical team is trying to find the source of the outbreak that began when the team returned from the international break.

Newcastle did not identify the affected ones, but speculation in that the international break has doubled the prevalence.
