RB Leipzig is excited by his team’s versatility and power as they reach knock-out stage.

RB Leipzig

won their Tuesday match against

Manchester United

and reached the knock-out stage to continue their Champions League adventure. Nagelsmann’s team were quick to score the first goal of the game by Angelino in the 2nd minute and Amadou Haidara doubled the lead for Leipzig in the 13th minute. Justin Kluivert’s second-half strike extended the gap to three goals and despite scoring two goals Solskjaer’s team didn’t manage to equalize the result. In a post-match interview,

Julian Nagelsmann

has spoken about his team’s performance as they are now qualified for the knock-out stage of the Champions League.

"It was a very intense final minutes of the game,

"We played a good game for a long time.

"We should not concede the penalty, we have to defend it better. For me, it's not a definite penalty, but a normal duel.

"On the second goal, I also believe that Harry Maguire's hand went to the ball. I've seen four perspectives, it's hard to see, but I think it was handball and shouldn't have counted either.

"It doesn't matter now, though. We're through, the boys fought. The boys are machines, they showed that again today."

Leipzig will play their next Bundesliga game against Werder Bremen as they are currently in the third place of the League’s table with 23 points.
