Argentina boss in 2014 World Cup, Alejandro Sabella has died at the age of 66.

Only a few days after

Maradona

's death, Argentina are now witnessing the death of another of their football greats,

Alejandro Sabella

. 66-year-old Sabella has been suffering from heart disease in recent months and was reportedly recovering. But a week ago, his condition worsened and he was hospitalized again.

Today, Radiofonica claimed that Sabella is no longer able to breathe easily and only breathes through a tube and device.  Finally, today, he suffered from a severe respiratory complication during treatment at the clinic, and the medical team's efforts to revive him were unsuccessful.

Sabella

, who was only 66 years old, resigned from leading Argentina after the

2014 World Cup

, and it is said that one of the reasons for this decision was his poor health.

Alejandro Sabella led the

Estudiantes

from 2009 to 2011, when he was appointed to lead his country's national team. Albiceleste had a brilliant era under Alejandro and reached the World Cup final again after 24 years at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. But it was

Germany

who blocked the way to championship for the Argentines, and in the end Sabella and

Lionel Messi

settled for the second place.

Alejandro also played in England during his time on the pitch. He has played for teams such as

Sheffield

and

Leeds United

.
