Urbano Cairo revealed he ‘never thought about sacking Marco Giampaolo' and claims he will offer Andrea Belotti a contract extension.

"We often play excellent first halves, we would have 20 points at the end of the first 45 minutes
"I can see the hand of the coach, now it is necessary the next step. The players must understand the heart and the determination of the coach. You need a positive wickedness, because if you are ahead in the final minutes, you can't throw away wins, again and again.
"We have important values and we have strengthened the team in the summer. Against Juve we have conceded two identical goals, it is not possible. In times of difficulty you have to give something more.
"Now everything looks dark, but we have to give our best and then things will change be positive again. We can start a new cycle with Giampaolo."
Andrea Belotti has scored 7 goals in 9 Serie A games this season.
"We have great respect and trust in our captain, surely the goal is to keep him with us. Now we are going to talk to him about the contract extension, this is our idea and we are working with [Torino's director of sport Davide] Vagnati."
Torino's current contract with the 26-year-old Belotti expires in 2022. His current release clause is € 100 million.
