The former Ligue 1 player believes it would have been an amazing opportunity to play alongside a footballer like Mbappe back in his days with PSG.

David Beckham

praised

Paris Saint-Germain

star,

Kylian Mbappe

, following his 100th goal for the French side. Mbappe, who become the fifth player to score 100 goals in PSG history, was able to reach this number after 137 appearances for the Ligue 1 leaders.

Beckham, who was impressed by the player, admitted that it would have been a

“dream”

to play next to the 21-year-old back in his days. He told

Telefoot

:

"I would have loved to be still a player now, because playing with a forward like Kylian would have been a dream to me.”

"You put the ball anywhere in front of him and he gets it."

"What struck me the most, was to see how he was humble, he had his head on his shoulders.”

"What made me love him even more, because I already appreciate him a lot; is his personality.”

"[He is a] humble, talented and a special person. To see someone so young with so much talent reach a bar that high, it's very special, for him, for the club, for his family and also for the supporters."

For their upcoming match PSG will host

Istanbul Basaksehir

in the

Champions League

competition with the hope of making it to the next round of the European race.
