Paul Pogba

was infected by Covid-19 during the summer. He got back to full training, days before the first match of the season, and he talks about his inability in playing at his best. He says that the virus has impacted him physically and he could not run as he used to in the match against

Crystal Palace

He has not performed as expected this season and it might be connected with him getting the virus. Ole preferred van de Beek, Fred and Fernandes over Pogba for the previous matches but he was finally in the starting lineup again against West Ham and scored an astonishing goal.

“It’s strange, it’s hard to explain because you wouldn’t understand. Even in training, I would say to the fitness coach that I feel strange. It’s not me,"

the France international told United's official website.

"I get tired very fast and I’m out of breath really fast. The first game of the season, I couldn’t run. I was trying.

"I spoke with the manager, 'I will start the game and let’s see,' but I was very out of breath and it took me a long time to get me back to my fitness and to get back physically good.”
