Eriksen didn’t celebrate his side’s victory over Bologna

Former Italian defender Federico Balzaretti has reported that Christian Eriksen did not rejoice in Inter's victory over Bologna and went right into the locker room after the end of the game, but insists: 'It's a positive sign.'

Christian Eriksen

has had a poor performance since he joined the

Nerazzurri

in January 2020 with only four goals and three assists in 36 games.

He has only played in 10 games so far this season and he is predicted to move in the winter transfer window, according to numerous sources in Italy.

He came to the pitch against Bologna in the 91st minute of the game just three minutes before the final whistle.

“Eriksen walked straight inside the dressing room without celebrating the victory,” Balzaretti, who is now a DAZN pundit, said after the game.

“It’s a good sign, if you are angry, it means you have not given up. It’s not something bad after all, it means something burns inside you and you can do more.

“I don’t consider these kind of gestures as negative things.”

Balzaretti

played 221 games for different clubs in Serie A including Varese, Siena, Torino, Juventus, Fiorentina, Palermo, and Roma.
