Former Manchester United manager reveals that despite his awful period in the Theatre of Dreams, Sir Alex Ferguson has still kept the connection with him.

Sir Alex Ferguson

decided to let

David Moyes

take the charge of

Manchester United

after his retirement. The Scottish manager came to the club from Everton with a 6 years contract but his time in Old Trafford did not even last a year.

The name of David Moyes still traumatizes Manchester United fans. However, apparently, he and Sir Alex Ferguson are still contacting each other. In fact, the pair recently spoke via text about Moyes’ progress during his second spell at West Ham.

Heading into Saturday’s Premier League clash between the teams,

West Ham

have won three straight games.

Moyes said (via the Metro):

“He texted me two weeks ago after a game to say how well he thought the team was doing,

“Sir Alex was always very good to me. He was very good to me at Manchester United. He is thought of so highly and at that time to replace him was a great honour.”
