Musah signs a deal with Valencia through 2026

After making his first appearance in senior international in the US last month, Musah has signed a contract with Valencia until 2026.

The club has pronounced that the 18-year-old

Yunus Musah

has committed his future to the club until 2026. The former Arsenal attacker played in 10 matches this season and met the back of the net once. Yunus has been on US international break twice so far as he was born there, but he was raised in London.

Musah played for USMNT and did not appear in any serious or official competitions. Therefore, he can choose to play for England or Nigeria, where his parents were born, too.

"

I don’t know [if he has made his decision]," Boothroyd said. "I hope he hasn’t because I think if he came here and saw what we are all about that he would really enjoy it

."

The 18-year-old winger admitted that he is really satisfied with his new contract.

"

I'm very happy to have signed for Valencia CF, and to have renewed my contract. I can't wait for what the future holds

," Musah said.

"

It's a dream come true for myself and for my family. Something that I've dreamed of ever since I was young was to have a first team contract with a big club. For that to happen at Valencia CF is even bigger.

"Valencia CF have shown trust in me and I want to carry on at this club which has helped me to start my career.

"I can't wait for the fans to be back at the stadium, as I haven't experienced that before. I've been to Mestalla to watch a lot of matches as a spectator, but it's going to be a

<em>

different experience playing there on the pitch."

Valencia

did not start off on the right foot winning only three games in 11 competitions so far and are 14th on the

La Liga

table.

Next month on Monday, Valencia will lock horns with

Eibar

in La Liga.
