Matt Hummels went to the hospital after the game, but his injury is not serious.
Mats Hummels expressed hope that his injury would not last long.
Hummels suffered an injury during last night's game against Lazio, and at first, it seemed that his injury was severe.
While Dortmund striker Halland will be sidelined until January due to a hamstring injury, Hummels' injury is not critical, and he could return to Lucien Favre's side in the next few days. During the match against the Italian side, Hummels suffered a severe blow to the ankle, and he had to go to the side field and be treated; after the game, he went to the hospital for a more detailed examination. However, Thursday's tests showed that his condition was not what it first seemed.
He posted a video on Instagram reassuring Dortmund fans that he would be back on the pitch soon and that his problem was not serious.
"Of course everybody want to know how I feel, so a little update.
"I just came out of the hospital and it looks like it's not too bad. It looks like it could be fine in a couple of days.
"But of course we will take another look at it [on Thursday] and then we will see.
"It looks like I'm going to be back on the pitch very, very soon."
