Martin Braithwaite: Barcelona unstoppable Danish star

Thu 03 December 2020 | 12:39

Barcelona Danish star is scoring these days and he is pleased with his and the team’s performance.

Last winter, after the transfer deadline expired in January,

Barcelona

asked La Liga to allow a new striker due to a serious injury and a long absence of

Ousmane Dembele

. The request was accepted and Barca eventually recruited

Martin Braithwaite

from

Leganes

.

The Danish striker had a good start, but was gradually left out from

Quique Setien

’s plans, but now, under

Koeman

, he has risen again.

Braithwaite has scored four goals in Barca's last four games, and last night, in the match against

Ferencvárosi

, he scored his team's second goal with an assist from

Dembele

.

He had previously scored two goals against Dynamo and Osasuna.

Braithwaite said after the match:

“I’m very happy for the victory and for the goal.

“My ambition is to continue helping the team.

“I am happy with what we are doing. A new coach has arrived and we are getting to know each other. I see the team progressing very well and we’re doing things well.”
