Following Tuesday’s Champions League defeat against Shakhtar, reports are suggesting that several regular players at the club now are believing the club can benefit from a coaching change.

Reports are claiming that Madrid’s legend,

Zinedine Zidane

, might face more struggles following the

Shakhtar

defeat, as he’s losing the support of his players. Second-half goals from

Dentinho

and

Manor Solomon

secured a stunning victory for the Ukrainian champions, as they were able to hit

Los Blancos

on counter-attacks meanwhile showing a decent defensive performance.

Real Madrid

might not be able to reach the Champions League knock-out stages as they are out of the qualification zone with just one game remaining.

The same report adds that the French manager is not under immediate pressure as the club’s boardroom believes he deserves more respect following his successful reign at the club, and the club’s dressing room are all grateful for Zidane while he commands loyalty and respect, although some doubts are creeping in.

Currently fourth in the La Liga table, the Madrid Side

has just won five out of their last 11 matches, and losing the same amount of games. Their poor run continued from home defeats at home to both

Cadiz

and

Alaves

, and away defeat at

Valencia

, whilst also drawing against both

Borussia Monchengladbach

and

Villarreal

.

Zidane told in his post-match interview that he will not be a quitter.

“I am not going to resign. We have had difficult moments. It is a bad run in terms of results. It is our reality, but we must continue,”

told Zidane.
