Group B is getting more complicated

Tue 01 December 2020 | 20:44

Inter Milan’s president believes that his side’s Champions League group is the most balanced.

Shakhtar Donetsk’s

shocking 2-0 win over

Real Madrid

has made the

Group B

calculations more complicated.

Inter Milan

face

Borussia Monchengladbach

in a decisive match tonight.

“This has suddenly become the most balanced group. We’ll sit down and make some calculations after the final result. We know that we need six points from the last two games, that goes without saying,” the director told Sky Sport Italia.

“The last round will be decisive for both qualification to the Round of 16 and also the Europa League, in my view.”

If Inter don’t win the game tonight, they will remain at the end of the table and can’t even qualify for the Europa League.

“The coach is very demanding, we all know and that is why we brought him in. It’s part of the working process to achieve winning results,” added Marotta.

“We are always ready for any difficulty and are totally united, but I want to point out that the ship is not in stormy waters.”
