Funeral workers receive death threats following Maradona’s death

’s coffin, revealed that they received death threats following the incident. The Argentinians, who have been mourning for the loss of Maradona, were in rage after Claudio Fernandez and his son took a picture with a thumbs up beside the legend’s place of rest.

"My son, like every kid, raised his thumb and they took the photo. I know that many people have been offended, they have taken it badly. They say they are going to kill us, break our heads,”

admitted Fernandez.

Matias Picon, who is the owner of the funeral parlour, expressed his sorrow about the death of Maradona saying:

“The family has total confidence in us, that's why we are so affected. My father is 75 years old and he is crying, I am crying, my brother too, we are destroyed.”

Throughout his career, Diego Maradona has been able to achieve many league cups alongside his World Cup win with Argentina in 1986. The former


player also had his of coaching before passing away.
