Juve's Danilo: 'We all have to do better'

Sat 28 November 2020 | 21:33

Danilo accepts Juventus 'lacked organization' after Benevento's leveler and that made the circumstance much trickier.

The

Bianconeri

reached a 1-1 stalemate at the Stadio Vigorito, with Alvaro Morata's goal evened out by

Gaetano Letizia

right before half-time whistle.

The strain got to

Morata

, who received a red card after the game was ended as he couldn't hold on to his temper because of the niggly second half, therefore he will miss their next match against Torino.

“I think we need to look within ourselves,” Danilo told Sky Sport Italia.

“It was a good first half, but when we conceded the goal, we lacked organisation and that made the situation even more difficult.

“We still feel that we are the strongest team, but we all have to do better.”

Danilo has become a key player in the Old Lady defense, as he can play as a full-back or focal in a three-man defense formation.

“Modern football is like that, you need to understand various moments and be ready to help the team, the coach, and the club.”
