Arsenal has to compete with PSG and Juventus for France international’s signature who they failed to pursue in the summer

As reported by L’Equipe on Friday,

Lyon

had to punish

Aouar

after midfielder

refused to join a warm down session after Lyon’s win over

Angers

, this means he will miss their match against Reims. The highly-rated midfielder was frustrated after potential suitors like

Arsenal, PSG, and Juventus

didn’t sign him in the summer.

Juventus’

Andrea Pirlo

is among Aouar’s admirers, but Lyon president,

Jean-Michel Aulas,

will demand €60-70m for his star midfielder even in this Covid-19 crisis, the Turin club are unwilling to meet these figures.

Juve are looking at an exchange operation and if this isn’t feasible for Lyon, the Italian champions want Aouar on a two-year loan deal with ‘subsequent redemption’, which will include a deferred payment option.

It’s been reported that PSG and Arsenal are likely to pull out of the competition.
