Mourinho comments on Chelsea squad

Fri 27 November 2020 | 17:08

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has claimed that he does not care what players are in Chelsea's starting line-up.

Undoubtedly, the most critical match of this week in the

Premier League

will be between

Chelsea

and

Tottenham

, and the winner of the match can introduce itself as one of the serious contenders for the championship title in the rest of the season. Tottenham boss, Jose Mourinho claims that he has been in football for many years and that his team is always focused only on the next game.

In the pre-game press conference, he was asked if he somehow have some information about

Chelsea

’s line-up.

"Not yet - or probably not - but with such an amazing squad, to play James or Azpilicueta, or play Chilwell, Alonso or Emerson, to play Mendy or play the most expensive goalkeeper in the history of the Premier League”

he said

"Chelsea has an amazing squad, so I'm not even worried about who is going to play because they only have very good players.

"Maybe we don't go top of the table there, maybe Liverpool get a point or victory at Brighton, so maybe we don't go top, but going there with us top or Liverpool top doesn't change anything for us.

"As I've been saying since the start of the season, we are always contenders to win the next match, nothing more than that, so we are going to be there, three possible results. We’ve been in football a long time, we know everything can happen. We go there, our objective is to win the game."

Mourinho

was also asked about how he feels about this rivalry with

Lampard

, who previously worked under him as a player:

"It's another game for me, no problem at all,”

he replied
