Jordan Henderson is not proud of the decision Liverpool has made after the controversial story of Evra and Suarez.

It was a controversial story among Premier League fans especially those who support Manchester United and Liverpool.

Suarez

’s racial abuse toward

Patrice Evra

, rival’s defender cost him an eight months ban. After two months of investigation, FA has declared their decision which was not acceptable by Liverpool.

The Liverpool players wore a shirt with Suarez's picture on it to support their teammate. However,

Jordan Henderson

, Liverpool’s current captain says that the club has taken the incident wrong from top to the bottom.

The England international told Anton Ferdinand’s ‘Football, Racism and Me’ documentary for the BBC: “Looking back on it now, I am not sure the club or everybody dealt with it in the best way.

“From a player point of view, our mindset was on Luis and how to protect him, but really we didn't really think about Patrice.

“I think that's where we got it wrong from top to bottom. If people want to point me out then I'll take full responsibility as well as a player. People will say, 'That's a bit late', but I suppose it's better late than never.”
