It is confirmed that fans of some of the Premier League clubs can return to the stadium.
The UK government has confirmed that Liverpool will be placed under tier 2 restrictions. It means that 2000Everton
fans are allowed to come to the stadium at the net match. Everton will hostChelsea
ahead of their next Premier League match on 12 December.
A statement read:
"Everton is progressing discussions with local and national authorities in preparation for the phased return of supporters to
after the UK The government confirmed Liverpool City Region will enter Tier Two local restrictions following the end of the national lockdown on 2 December.
"The club is undertaking a series of discussions with the Premier League and both local and national authorities to ensure the necessary safety measures and guidelines are in place for the return of fans.
"The first Goodison Park fixture fans will be able to attend will be the visit of Chelsea on 12 December.
"Details of the ballot process for season ticket members and seasonal hospitality members for the visit of Chelsea on 12 December will be communicated to eligible fans in the coming days after the conclusion of planning discussions.
"The ballot will ONLY be open to season ticket and hospitality members, with the aim of keeping family and friend groups together where possible. Fans will have to ‘opt-in’ for the ballot."
