Zidane and Conte expressed their sorrow over Maradona’s death

Zinedine Zidane and Antonio Conte react to the death of Argentina legend and one of the greatest players in football history, Diego Maradona.

60 – year – old

Maradona

was recently hospitalized and underwent surgery. But he seemed to be recovering and he was released from the hospital a few days ago. But yesterday, he suffered a

cardiac arrest

at home and eventually lost his life.

, who had recently turned 60, was resting and recovering at home in Buenos Aires when he suffered from the problem and doctors' efforts to resuscitate him were ineffective.

Maradona

was one of the greatest stars in the history of football and many consider him the best player in history. The popular star paved the way for

Argentina

to win the

1986 World

Cup with a superb performance, and four years later he was close to repeating that success, but

Germany

defeated Albiceleste in the final.

But in the aftermath, Maradona faced many problems and dramas, from getting addicted to drugs to testing for doping. Finally, yesterday, at the age of 60, he died of cardiac arrest.

The news of Maradona's death was a huge shock to the football world.

Zinedine Zidane

expressed his sorrow over this bitter incident:

"It's an enormous loss for the world of football,”

Zidane said

"I have him engrained in my head because of what he did at the 1986 World Cup. I was 14 years old... I have no words. We're all very sad."

Inter boss,

Antonio Conte

also commented on this great tragedy.

He said,

"We are all shedding tears for the loss of a man who wrote football history and will always be an indelible figure in this sport.

"He was the poetry of football. I had the pleasure of playing against him, of marking him, and it still doesn't seem real that he's gone, especially as he was still young. It's very sad."
