In a moving homage, Everton boss
as ‘eternal’ after the passing of the football legend at the age of 60.
On Wednesday, the world was shocked when it was confirmed that Maradona had passed away due to a heart attack.
He went to win the World Cup. He also achieved tremendous success at the club level, especially in Napoli where he brought the club the only two Scudetto they have ever won.
One of Napoli’s great competitors at the time was AC Milan, where Ancelotti commanded the midfield and the Italian had numbers of fights with Maradona.
The Everton manager posted a photo of themselves against each other on Twitter and accompanied it by writing:
"You were always a genius. Today is a very sad day and a great loss. But you my friend are eternal. Ciao Diego. Rest In Peace."
