Wilshere would love to play in Arsenal again

Wed 25 November 2020 | 14:19

Former Arsenal player Jack Wilshere says it’s his dream to return to Arsenal.

Although he doesn’t see it probable,

Jack Wilshere

says it would be like a dream for him to play for the

Gunners

again.

Wilshere spent ten years playing for the Gunners. He played 198 games for Arsenal and scored 30 goals and assisted 30. But he couldn’t show all his potential quality because of the injuries he faced during his playing time in Arsenal.

After he didn’t get enough minutes in 2018 he decided to leave the club and joined

West Ham

with a three year deal but nothing changed and he played 19 games since his arrival so they agreed on a mutually accepted departure last month.

And now the 28 years old is looking for a new team and has expressed his feelings about his Arsenal return in an interview with ITV Football Show.

"Listen, you never know. I'm an Arsenal man. There's nothing, I've not spoken to anyone or anything but that would be the dream.

"I'm not stupid to know that there's probably no chance of it happening but I'm an Arsenal man, I love the club and want to see the club do well.”

And he went on about Arteta: “I’ve heard he’s really good, a lot of people who were there when I was there have left, but a few are still there.

“He’s really hands on, it’s really coach-led, is what I’ve heard, he knows what he wants and where he wants his players to be. He wants hard work every session and I think you can see that when he first came in.”
