Barcelona midfielder, Carles Alena reveals his wish to stay at Camp Nou amid Real Betis rumors. The player, who made 41 appearances for Barcelona, was loaned to Betis in 2019-20 season after failing to earn a regular spot on the team. Following six prolific months with Real Betis, Alena returned to Barcelona in hope of making it into Koeman’s squad.
The 22-year-old, who had little appearances with team including their recent defeat, was named as one of the starters for their upcoming Champions League match. When questioned about his future, Alena told the reporters: "My idea is to remain here. I feel physically well. I want to stay, if it was down to me, I would stay here all my life.”
