For their win against Rennes, both teammates were successful to work together and help each other to score the Blues first goal.

Chelsea

hailed the performance of his teammate Mason Mount after receiving his help to score the Blues opener against

Rennes

. Later Rennes were successful to equal the result by a goal from

Serhou Guirassy

, but the celebration for Rennes did not last when substitute

Olivier Giroud

came to the ground and scored the second and winning goal for Chelsea.

Despite winning 6 matches in a row, Hudson-Odoi still wishes to see improvement from their side.

“Everybody is playing well at the moment but we want to keep improving,"

he told

BT Sport

.

"I need to take each opportunity I get when I'm in the team. I want to keep getting goals and assists and working hard for the team. I'm happy with the three points."

The 20-year old also praised his teammate

Mount

saying:

"I know Mason; he works really hard and presses well in the middle of the pitch so as soon as he got the ball I knew I was in front of the full-back. His vision is amazing and [I knew] he'd pick me out so I got in there and got the goal."

Hudson-Odoi further talked about their upcoming game with Premier League leaders

Tottenham

and their winning chances.

"We'll go in there trying to win, we're confident and playing well at the moment. We've got to recover well and hopefully get the win there,"
