Mon 23 November 2020 | 16:06

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given an update on his injured players ahead of their next Champions League match.

2020 was not a great year for

Paul Pogba

, especially in terms of injuries.

Pogba

picked up an injury in training while with the France international team therefore he missed the match against

West Brom

. However,

Ole Gunnar Solkjaer

has confirmed that the French midfielder has trained with the team on Monday and is able to participate in the match against the Turkish side,

Basaksehir

on Tuesday night.

Solskjaer

said: “We hope he [

Pogba

] is going to be available, he trained this morning, we will see if there's any reaction when we report tomorrow.”

Manchester United

will be without the likes of

Phil Jones

,

Jesse Lingard

, and

Luke Shaw

. Ole has been asked to give an update about the players ahead of the next Champions League match in Old Trafford.

“I hope nearer to four weeks,”

Solskjaer

replied when asked about a timeframe for

Shaw

’s return. “But with a recurrence of hamstring injuries, you can't risk anything and he's not trained with us, we'll see how he reacts to the programme he's on, hopefully, four but maybe nearer five or six.”
